Shocco 2006 was more than just having great fellowship and learning about God, it was also interaction with Him. We felt his presence everywhere. He met us through worship, messages, and through the romantic atmosphere filled with His people. With no worries, no responsibilities such as lodging, clothing, food, we could give all we had to learn and reflect upon this beautiful God. We had quite a 4 day 3 night experience with everyone leaving with something gained through this weekend. Through sharing we heard peoples' struggles, peoples' testimonies, and how God had made himself known to people. Praise be to God for all those who dedicated their lives to Christ, those who rededicated their life to Christ, and those who gave themselves to become missionaries. The journey is nowhere near easy, but it is most definitely worth it.
The Lord used Sam to express to us what He wanted us to learn in a clear, concise, and humorous tone. Even through an Aussie accent, God's will was spread throughout the assembly, and we were blessed with His word. We learned through the study of Luke, six various parables and stories of Jesus, what it was to be lost. We learned what it was to long. We learned about seeking salvation and eternal life. We saw each individual's struggle, faith, and relationship with Jesus. We studied what Jesus sought to teach us through every action and story, and through a devoted Christian professor's analysis, obtained a simple but powerful message of love and action. Jesus has come to save you. Jesus is the answer.
