WR 2003... Even as a counselor? I learned many things at this retreat... Surrender...it's not our life to live for ourselves, it's our life that we LIVE FOR GOD... Live recklessly...yes reckless like jackbutt and jump into lakes and hug his wonderful creations, such as ducks and swans, for God (or when counselors ask you to for fun and laughs)... Surrender our heart...broken hearts...when we do not have broken hearts, we are stubborn and do not admit to our faults, but if we let our hearts be broken for God, He will reveal to us our true self, the good and the bad...undivided heart...live only for God and let NOTHING distract us from Him and His will for us...seeking heart...always seek God first, do not let Him come seeking you first...do not go seeking Him only when you are in want...seek Him ALWAYS Surrender our mind...we all have powerful minds and if we do not have control over our minds from sin, we will fall to sin, but when we set our minds up high, we will see God and his amazing grace for sinners like us... Surrender our hands...let go of the things we like to do and turn to the things we NEED to do for God...show love to EVERYONE...give EVERYTHING to God by asking for His help...lose your life for God and do it with trust in God through FAITH... Surrender our life...know God has a purpose for your life...1 Timothy 4:12... I also learned to be humble...especially after getting tackled by Yvonne (got all the respect for her and everyone else should too)...God taught me that no one can be too proud or too sure of themselves, or we all will be put in our place...as for me it was face first into the deer-poop filled grass fields of Berry College...so take things that happen to you in life like a MAN and deal with it...do not complain, do not whine, do not blame God...remember...He has a purpose for ALL of us...
