Hey, my name is Joshua Fu. I just wanted to share the experience I had at Winter Retreat 2002. First of all, I honestly didn't have the zeal about going as I did last year. I just thought I'd go to play for worship and not put my heart into it.

      As the first night went on, the fellowship and friendly atmosphere, a big change from the world of school, had a good effect on me. I felt like GOD was giving me a kiss on the cheek, with all the loving and caring around.

      Besides the fellowship, I really enjoyed Thomas' messages. For example, having the BUS heart really got me thinking. Was I really having a broken, undivided, and seeking heart? It seemed like I didn't, and just listening to more of Thomas' messages made me really realize how much I was neglecting GOD unconsciously.

      Another thing that got me thinking was the video about the music in our world, how it creeps up on us and influences our way of thinking and how we act. And the 30-day music fast challenge. Even though I didn't go through with it, I deleted a lot of music that were getting in the way with my spiritual walk with GOD.

      As I end my testimony, I just want to encourage all that didn't go to Winter Retreat to go next year. Trust me, you will enjoy it once you get there, even if you don't think so before you go. And I know that GOD will work in your life some way.
